About Questing Again
Hi, I’m Vadinator. I’m a parent who used to lose whole weekends to World of Warcraft, and now I get about an hour after the kids are in bed. When WoW Forever was announced, I wanted to go back. I didn’t want to spend that hour reading forum threads or watching 40-minute videos to find out what changed.
So I started writing the guides I wanted to find.
What you’ll find here
- Returning-player guides. What’s different from the game you remember, which ruleset to pick, and which class forgives a little rust.
- Leveling for short sessions. Plans built around an hour a night, Rested XP, and campfires, not marathon sessions.
- Professions without the spreadsheet. Which ones help busy players, and simple routes you can do in 30-minute chunks.
- Anvilstride, my free addon for WoW Forever. It helps with leveling routes, class training, profession unlocks, and dungeon prep. See the Anvilstride page.
How I write these guides
- I play it myself. Every guide has a “last verified in-game” date. If something was only reported in the beta or by another site, I say so until I’ve checked it.
- My own words and my own screenshots. No copied guides and no Blizzard art.
- Plain English. If a term needs explaining, I explain it.
- I update guides when the game changes. If you spot something out of date, please tell me.
I use AI tools to help with research, outlines, and first drafts. I check every guide, test it in game, and add my own notes before it goes up. [CONFIRM: keep this line? Being upfront is recommended.]
